Its 710g ultra-lightweight chassis combined with unsurpassed stiffness and all-day-long compliance makes the BURAsl the perfect companion — no matter if you’re looking to escape on an alpine climb, in the final sprint or on your Sunday morning ride.
Designed as an evolution of the BURAsl, the latest edition was completely re-engineered to achieve the highest stiffness to weight ratio, ensuring the most efficient and direct power transfer.
An asymmetric down-tube and seat-tube, press-fit 86 bottom bracket, a remodelled top tube and exoskeleton ribs, and an all new rear triangle are just some of the new features that further decrease frame weight, while allowing our engineers to increase stiffness and compliance.
BURAsl’s front triangle is made from NEILPRYDE C6.9 unidirectional carbon fibre and incorporates our proprietary Exoskeleton technology. External carbon fibre ribs integrated in the key joints of the monocoque front triangle ensure the BURAsl frame responds immediately each time you step on the power.
The rear triangle incorporates a new exoskeleton rib design together with our One-Piece Stays — a unique design for the chain stay and carbon fibre drop out. Combined with the ultra-thin seat-stays, this combination enables the ride to be tuned for the perfect balance between power transfer and compliance, while increasing durability. The new BURAsl fork, weighing in at just 300g, has also been designed with a slight bow to smooth road chatter to improve all-day compliance.
Carbon fibre front and rear dropouts, a Press Fit 86 bottom bracket and carbon headset cups further reduce the frame weight without sacrificing durability or performance.
That’s it: bare minimum weight and maximum performance. Ready to escape, wherever the road takes you.

High stiffness to weight ratio
BURAsl’s front triangle is made from NEILPRYDE C6.9 uni-directional carbon fiber, the highest modulus suitable for bikes, which results in a 710g frame weight.
One-piece Stays
1Redesigned deep section chain stays combined with our One-piece Stays construction and exoskeleton rib result in improved durability and power transfer without sacrificing weight.
PU MOLDING
2A high-tolerance control of wall thickness in bottom bracket and head tube is possible through use of PU mandrel and internal layer of 3k carbon fiber.
EXOSKELETON TECHNOLOGY
An evolution of the external carbon fibre ribs are integrated into the head tube and seat tube joints increasing lateral stiffness and torsional rigidity, while improving airflow around the frame.
