The new NAZARÉ range is faster than ever! With a remarkable ability to overcome air resistance and a legacy of wind cheating aerodynamics the new NAZARÉ is now available in two distinct models using either the C6.7 or C6.9 grades of carbon fibre.
We’ve redefined our aero road series with the perfect balance of weight to stiffness into a package that not only increased compliance but also reduced drag. The NAZARÉ is also now available with an integrated bar and stem developed for watt saving aerodynamic performance. Optimised for aerodynamic ergonomics the new stem and bar were designed with minimal frontal surface area.
The NAZARÉsl benefits from the use of NEILPRYDE’s C6.9 high modulus carbon fiber, resulting in one of the lightest aero road frames, tipping the scales at 940g (size L). While the new NAZARÉ utilises NEILPRYDE’s C6.7 carbon fibre to maintain all the high-performance characteristics of the NAZARÉsl but at a lower pricepoint.
The new NAZARÉ models continue to use OTP Aerodynamic tube profiles, first developed by BMW Group DesignworksUSA. However, for 2017 the aerofoil profiles were tweaked to further improve aerodynamic performance at narrower wind angles. This resulted in an hourglass shaped head tube, a narrower downtube with a truncated aerofoil profile, an integrated fork, and a redesigned seat tube.
The NEILPRYDE Aeroblade stem and bar integrates with the NAZARÉ frame to further reduce drag. The narrower bar width was designed to help the rider reduce overall frontal area and improve aerodynamic ergonomics.
Other performance improvements include the use of Shimano’s aerodynamic direct mount brakes, an integrated seat post clamp, internal cable routing, press fit 86 bottom bracket, and a reversible seatpost which can house a Di2 battery.
