Rides are subject to change.

How would your friends describe you?
A good guy – generous, loyal and always calm.
Has there ever been a life-changing moment in your life?
A few - moving to France at 17 to try and become a pro cyclist, the birth of my two daughters and meeting my wife at the airport in South Africa which lead to me starting a new life 6 months later in a place I had never heard of before – Tampa in Florida.
What is your special talent?
Coaching cyclists to become the best they can be both physically and mentally.
What does the Epic Riders program mean to you?
An exciting opportunity to be part of a family who are passionate about the brand and have a love for Epic riding!
How did you start cycling?
My father started riding and I followed his example (1986).
Why are you interested in documenting rides?
To share incredible experiences with others.
Who is your favorite cyclist?
Gianni Bugno in 90s and now Daryl Impey at Radioshack (a good friend).
What was your first bike?
Peugeot Rapport (1986).
Why do you prefer cycling over other sports activities?
Its exploration on 2 wheels, gives a sense of freedom, and is also more social than sports like running or swimming.
What was your biggest success in cycling?
2 times South African Pro Road National Champion (1998 & 2000), African Time Trial Champion (2001).
