Auburn, California lies in the foothills of the Sierras just off Interstate 80 near Sacramento, CA. Itís easy to miss as it is a small town and unassuming drivers fly by at 70mph but Auburn is a great starting point for many rides in this area. There are several routes to choose from but this particular ride included one of the harder climbs in the area ñ Iowa Hill.
