Meet the Alize. Sexy? Yes. Smart? Definitely.

This isn't just any racing bike. It's a very fast racing bike. Or to be more specific: the archetype of aerodynamics in motion.

The Alize design reflects a balance between elegant engineering and insane speed. Its enviously beautiful body is sculpted from C6.7 unidirectional carbon fibre – a unique combination of high-modulus materials exclusively developed for NeilPryde bikes.

Now take a closer look, because the devil is in the details. Morphing aerofoil cross-sections to manage airflow. Joints and transitions that are performance solutions. Sculpted chain stays for increased stiffness.

of the frame are opportunities to create, control and refine aerodynamic performance. The Extended Kammtail design within the down tube reduces aerodynamic drag without sacrificing power transfer, so every ride is like slicing through the wind.

The frame itself is aggressive in its stiffness and weight, but also very controlled and comfortable due to its road smoothing abilities. "Overall the Alize is a great bike for someone who is training and racing hard. The Alize isn't the stiffest frame design but it sure felt the most aerodynamic. That said I think most of us would be hard pressed to flex this bike in any significant manner. And of course I can't quantify my aerodynamic "feeling" with empirical data but it felt fast as I chugged along on any of the Upstate's rolling terrain."

"A ridiculously fast ride that leapt up hills and offered super comfort over distance… We were amazed to average 21mph on our first ride, easily our quickest ever winter ride, but at a surprisingly low heart rate. We liked the positive transfer of power to the pedals, and it's surprisingly easy to maintain high cruising speed."
