Overview

Diablo Frameset + Lightweight Standard III Tubular Wheels*

Lightweight call them Standard – but for the rest of the world this is a dream that became reality. For more than 15 years Lightweight wheels are rolling at the race tracks and the roads around the world. A countless number of pro athletes trust the performance, the stiffness and the sensational low weight of their Lightweight Standard wheels. The third generation of Standard wheels offer 30% more stiffness and therefore improved acceleration, safety and control of your ride due to the optimized shape of the rim and our new developed carbon fibre spokes.

And now you have the option to combine the NeilPryde Diablo frameset with Lightweight Standard wheels*. This forms the perfect platform from which to build the ultimate race-tuned bike. The powerful and muscular form of the Diablo combines perfectly with the stiff and low weight Standard III’s, creating the ultimate climbing machine.

Highlights

Lightweight front hub combined with 16 carbon fibre spokes
NeilPryde logo with a laminated magnet in both front and rear rims for use with bike computers
16 spokes in the front and 20 spokes in the rear wheels provide the perfect balance between stiffness and lightweight
DT Swiss 240’s rear hub with option for Campagnolo 9/10/11 speed, Shimano 9/10 speed or SRAM 10-speed compatibility

* Lightweight Standard III wheels do not include quick release skewers, tyres, or brake pad

"The stealth looks and stealth hill-bombing ability make the Diablo the fast rider’s choice… NeilPryde has made an admirable debut with handling that any bike designer would be proud of."

"The Diablo ticks all the boxes. Its performance is of the highest level, on a par with established rivals. It’s got the looks, it’s good value for money with a cracking build that is ready to race straight from the box."

"J'ai adoré ce vélo sans concession. Le Diablo est fait pour "taper dedans" quel que soit le terrain, même s'il a des prédispositions pour les grimpées. On ne le sent jamais faiblir !"

"You want stiff, you want fast and you want it in a very handsome package. Intervals and sprint workouts are a big part of your program and you want a bike that makes the most of your effort."

"An impressive and dedicated launch in to pastures new from NeilPryde. The Diablo is a stiff and aggressive chassis with a all star cast of components, combined in a good value package. This is not redefining the limits of performance but definitely an impressive launch and no sign of the brand's infancy in the industry."

"This isn't just a side project or a bit of fun for NeilPryde – they're completely committed to establishing themselves on land as they have done on the water. This bike is a great start. Usually it takes some time before new products conquer the market but the Diablo looks set to make a remarkable impact." (Procycling UK)
