BURAsl scores high with ProCycling

Marcel Wüst took the BURAsl on a test ride in the hills and the bike did not disappoint. Here are a few highlights:

"I have rarely ridden a sub-6kg bike (5.98kg without pedals) which feels so stable in all riding situations. The highlight, of course, is its attitude on the climbs. Accelerations are rewarded with a quick gain of speed and the ease with which this is accomplished surprised me time after time. The low weight of the wheels allied with the continental competition tubs – not to mention the warm sun on my back – was very satisfying indeed. Of course, I was not climbing at maximum power but the BURAsl felt just right for me at that moment, with its stiff tubes and sporty riding position. The design is focused on achieving a high stiffness-to-weight, ratio. On this point, the BURAsl truly deserves a podium spot."

"Knowing that a professional rider such as my countryman and Giro d’Italia stage winner Robert Förster uses NeilPryde as a workhorse on the US-based Procontinental team UnitedHealthcare shows that the frame can stand the stresses and strains of the toughest competitions. The three major targets when designing this frame – maximum stiffness in the bottom bracket and headtube combined with a very low weight – have certainly been met. With its huge tubes and special carbon braces around these areas, the BURAsl scores maximum points in all three categories."
