We are pleased to announce that NeilPryde’s BAYAMO time trial bike has won three top international design awards – the prestigious iF and Red Dot awards and Chicago Athenaeum’s Good Design award.
This is outstanding recognition for the new bike that was designed in collaboration with BMW Group DesignworksUSA. New additions to the trophy cabinet further reinforce NeilPryde’s position as a maker of ‘elegantly-engineered’ sporting equipment and a serious and exciting new player in the competitive cycling market.

The BAYAMO is a lightweight racing machine for time trials and triathlons. Tested extensively using Computational Fluid Dynamics simulations, in wind tunnels and under the UnitedHealthcare Pro Cycling Team, BAYAMO meets the highest standards for aerodynamics, stiffness and comfort. Featuring NeilPryde’s unique Kamm-tail aerofoil tube shaping, the BAYAMO is able to slice through wind coming at it from all directions, reducing drag and significantly improving speed.
Mike Pryde, NeilPryde Bikes Brand Manager commented: “NeilPryde Bikes has been steadily growing and expanding in reach for the past 12 months. Having BAYAMO recognised in this manner by iF, Red Dot and Good Design awards is an honour and one we are all extremely proud of.”
These three awards add to the Pryde Group’s already impressive trophy cabinet. With over 30 international awards won since 1991 for marketing, design and business excellence, the Pryde Group cements its reputation as one of Asia’s most internationally successful sports businesses and a leading global player in the performance sports market.
