The all-round racing and climbing bike. Powerful and muscular.
Its complex form is sculpted from C6.7 unidirectional carbon fibre – a unique combination of high-modulus materials developed exclusively for NeilPryde bikes.
At first glance, the frame is a vision of muscular superiority, incorporating the proprietary Exoskeleton technology – two continuous carbon fibre ribs integrated through each element of the monocoque front triangle.
This unique engineering solution, developed through extensive Finite Element Analysis, means the Diablo is the perfect combination of form vs. function – Beauty vs. The Beast!
Highlights
Anyone can design a bike, but few can create an icon. We began by looking for a design team that shares our passion for winning products and our design approach of "Elegantly Engineered". This is why we chose to work alongside DesignworksUSA, a subsidiary of the BMW Group.
Utilizing detailed Finite Element Analysis conducted during the research and development process, our designers and engineers first developed the unique profiles in the Diablo frame and forks, and then refined the exoskeleton technology – incorporating continuous C6.7 carbon fibres integrated into the monocoque front triangle.
Optimised tube profiles enable frame stiffness to be maximized in critical areas.
High stiffness? Check. Lightweight? Check. The tube profiles are designed to achieve the optimised balance between both characteristics. The result: the ultimate racing and climbing bike.

April 2011
March 2011
"You want stiff, you want fast and you want it in a very handsome package. Intervals and sprint workouts are a big part of your program and you want a bike that makes the most of your effort."
March 2011
"An impressive and dedicated launch in to pastures new from NeilPryde. The Diablo is a stiff and aggressive chassis with a all star cast of components, combined in a good value package. This is not redefining the limits of performance but definitely an impressive launch and no sign of the brand's infancy in the industry."
January 2011
December 2010
"This isn't just a side project or a bit of fun for NeilPryde – they're completely committed to establishing themselves on land as they have done on the water. This bike is a great start. Usually it takes some time before new products conquer the market but the Diablo looks set to make a remarkable impact." (Procycling UK)
December 2010
October 2010
Rated as "Top Performance" frame by the EFBe, a leading test laboratory for bike component quality and safety.
