Design Story

We started this project like we do all our projects; with a blank sheet of paper, an open mind, and a desire to produce a game-changer. We don't just want to compete. We want to leave the competition scratching its head, in a cloud of dust, wondering where it all went wrong. We believe we've got it right because we don't do 'normal', and the end results are anything but.

Anyone can design a bike, but few can create an icon. We began by looking for a design team that shares our passion for winning products and our design approach of "Elegantly Engineered". This is why we chose to work alongside DesignworksUSA, a subsidiary of the BMW Group. This premiere design consultancy has a 38-year heritage of developing cutting-edge, visually distinctive products for some of the most iconic automotive, yachting and aircraft companies.

Superior dynamics combined with aesthetic perfection is the dream we share with many cycling enthusiasts. That passion and motivation were the inspiration for DesignworksUSA, to create two iconic designs for NeilPryde that transcend road bike capabilities to the next level.

You can tell by looking at the Diablo and Alize that every single curve has a meaning. The bikes not only look good (well, we think so!), but also perform. Each tube, joint and detail has been designed to make you go faster. Much faster.

It sounds complicated, but it's just another bit of simple design that not only looks good, but works. No other bike looks, or performs like a NeilPryde.
